"Safety is for Life"
The District Safety weekend will soon be upon us. As always, it is held on Mother's Day Weekend, however, this year it will be Friday and Saturday, not on Sunday. This is a great time to take some seminars, and/or take an ERC or Trike course for the first time or for a refresher. You might check with your insurance company as some do require you to take a course every year or two to have a discount on your Motorcycle Insurance. ERC can be one up or two up, having your passenger with you. Each successive level has requirements that these seminars will fulfill. Remember Level 1 is just saying 'YES'.
First Aid is another element for level 3. You can update your First Aid/CPR at the Safety Weekend also.
Spring is upon us and these courses are good for even the most experienced rider and co-rider to be reminded of what we need to know and be ready to ride so that we all may enjoy our riding and get the most out of our rides.
