Hi Everybody,

I looked at last year’s December message and there are a lot of similarities to this year. Some of the things have changed; some have not. Some members of Chapter A have had some misfortunes, but I am glad that on the whole things are going well. I have had a lot to be thankful for this year and I hope you have also. I got to ride over 24,000 miles this year and I can’t remember a day that I didn’t really like. Some, of course, were more fun than others, but all in all they all were enjoyable. And I still have not put the cycle up for the winter. I did that a couple of years ago and I had to keep buying more gas treatment. Ah the enjoyment of it all!

December brings Christmas and along with that are the many parties to celebrate families and friends. Chapter A is having a party at Mark Tilton and Roberta McAfee’s house at 4310 SE 17th Court in Des Moines on Saturday, December 13 at 7 p.m. If you are coming, please bring a covered dish. The meat and drink will be provided. Please RSVP if you can. Looking forward to seeing you.

I want to close by wishing everybody a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. And if you are going to ride some this winter, ride safe!
